The Ashford Center is seeking an Nurse Practitioner to join our growing specialty practice in Athens, Georgia.
Our practice is dedicated to helping women regain their quality of life through comprehensive evaluation and treatment of hormone imbalance, perimenopause, menopause, PMS, abnormal uterine bleeding, and other gynecologic concerns. We believe every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with an individualized approach.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients while practicing evidence-based medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive women’s health and hormone evaluations
Diagnose and manage perimenopause, menopause, and hormone-related conditions
Develop individualized hormone replacement therapy (HRT/BHRT) treatment plans(We'll teach you what you need to know.)
Provide follow-up care and medication management
Educate patients regarding treatment options and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate closely with physicians regarding complex patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest clinical standards
Qualifications
Current Georgia Nurse Practitioner license
Board Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
DEA license (or eligibility)
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff
Prior hormone replacement therapy experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide advanced training for an exceptional candidate who is passionate about women's hormone health.
