Retina Physician, Private – NO PE– Little Rock, Arkansas
We are a thriving, physician-owned retina-only practice established in 1980, currently consisting of five partners and one associate. Due to continued patient demand, we are seeking an additional retina specialist to join our growing team.
Our practice offers a clear and proven pathway to partnership after two years. To date, every eligible physician has become a partner. We are an equal partnership structure—no junior partners and no unequal voting rights. We value our independence and have no interest in private equity acquisition.
Practice Highlights
- Busy, well-established retina-only practice with strong referral base
- Manageable clinical volumes with a focus on quality care and work-life balance
- Our patient volume is very reasonable, and you will be seeing 50-60 patients per day, although more can be seen if desired.
- Travel to satellite clinics approximately 6 times per month
- Call burden minimal due to sharing call with another retina group
- Latest diagnostic and surgical technology, including:
- o Heidelberg OCT and OCT-A
- o Optos FA/ICG
- o Alcon Unity
- o NGENUITY 3D visualization system
Research
Recently launched clinical research division and are actively participating in a Phase 2 trial, with plans to expand into additional trials.
Compensation & Retirement
- Competitive associate salary with production bonus.
- Sign on bonus/relocation expenses negotiable.
- Once a partner, maximum 401(k) contribution up to $72,000
- Participation in the Arkansas Diamond Plan, allowing an additional $24,500 401(k) contribution using Medicaid dollars
- As associate, mileage for travel is paid. As a partner, we have a vehicle allowance.
- Disability insurance is paid in full

Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon (would consider medical retina)
- ABO certified or board eligible
- Eligible for U.S. employment and Arkansas licensure
