- Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Description
About the program
Tessera Adolescent Health is a small residential treatment program in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Nursing works alongside medical and mental health providers, therapists, and care staff. Tessera is a new program hiring its first nursing team, so the nurses who join now help set how the department runs.
Who we serve
Teenagers ages 14 through 17, all genders, in residential treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Tessera is a home-like setting rather than a hospital. Sixteen beds in one building, where residents settle in and do the work of treatment instead of moving through a clinical unit. The census stays small enough that nurses work with the same residents through their stay.
Tessera does not provide detoxification. Residents are medically stable at admission, and any withdrawal management they needed is completed before they arrive. Nursing continues to monitor each resident through the stay, including symptoms that linger or return afterward.
Registered Nurse (RN), Full Time, Day Shift
Tessera is hiring one Registered Nurse for day shift in a 16 bed adolescent residential program. Days and hours are set with the nurse at hire, based on program need.
Pay: $45.00 to $60.00 an hour based on experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Full Time and Part Time, Second and Third Shift
Tessera is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for second shift and third shift. Full time and part time openings are both available.
Pay: $25.00 to $35.00 an hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Nursing assessments and health screenings at admission and throughout treatment.
Medication administration and Medication Administration Record (MAR) documentation, including storage, security, and counts of controlled substances.
