VA Providence Healthcare System is seeking Physicians with a strong record of high-quality, patient-centered clinical care to provide comprehensive outpatient care to Veterans at:

Key Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Leverage current knowledge and recent experience in providing direct patient care. 
• Participate in team-based care by joining daily huddles within the Patient Aligned Care Team - comprised of an RN care manager, LPN, clinical pharmacist, psychologists, and social workers.  Collaborate closely with other co-located extended team members, such as clinical pharmacists and nutritionists to ensure coordinated, wraparound care.
• Contribute to team and facility-wide quality improvement, population-based interventions, leadership initiatives, research, clinical projects, educational activities, and/or program development in areas that include but are not limited to chronic disease management, care transitions, geriatrics, reproductive and women's health care, and LGBTQ+ care.
  
  

Requires:

•          U.S. Citizenship, an M.D. or D.O.
•          Full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state
•          Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is preferred but not required
•          Passion for teaching and mentoring others in the Primary Care setting
