Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval - award amount (up to $200 -000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Duties

• Physician Assistant (PA) for Cardiology functions as an advanced practice provider within the Cardiology Section of Medicine Service
• The incumbent provides comprehensive cardiovascular care in outpatient - inpatient - virtual - and procedural settings
• The PA evaluates - diagnoses - treats - and manages patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and conditions while working collaboratively with cardiologists - primary care providers - nursing staff - and other interdisciplinary team members
• The PA practices with a high degree of autonomy consistent with approved clinical privileges - scope of practice - facility bylaws - and VA regulations
