OB/GYN Physician | Near Fort Worth, Texas
Join an established OB/GYN practice in Decatur, Texas. The role offers an established patient base, predictable Monday through Friday clinic hours, and a defined seven day per month call schedule within a community based practice.
Position Highlights
- Established Patient Base: Take over an existing patient panel following the retirement of a long tenured physician.
- Predictable Schedule: Clinic runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with hospital rounds from 8:00 to 9:00 AM and clinic appointments beginning at 9:00 AM.
- Call & Delivery Coverage: Cover seven days of call per month, with approximately three to four calls per week during your rotation. Most physicians cover deliveries for their own patients during the week, and the facility averages 20 to 30 deliveries per month.
- Clinical Support: Work alongside OB/GYNs and NPs with a minimum 1:1 LVN support ratio and clinical staff with at least five years of tenure.
Practice & Resources
- Practice with 10 LDRP rooms, two dedicated OB ORs, a Level I Nursery, and 24/7 in house CRNA coverage.
- See approximately 18 to 20 patients per day with 30 minute new patient appointments and 15 minute follow ups.
- Access an in house lab and ultrasound, with eClinicalWorks in clinic and MEDITECH in the hospital.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Comfort practicing in a community setting with Level I Nursery / Level I Maternal designation
- Ability to meet a 30 minute call radius requirement
- Comfort caring for Spanish speaking patient population desired
