LOCATION: The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Plano, TexasSPECIALTY/DEPARTMENT: Heart Failure Clinic
SHIFT/SCHEDULE: Full-time days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Job Summary As Nursing Operations Analyst Manager, guide upper management on results, priorities, and challenges. Utilize measurement tools, EPIC, Skylight, and NDNQI for huddle boards. Streamline operations and improve patient care services through your contribution.
Essential Functions of the Role
• Your role will involve regularly updating management on the status of key performance indicators related to divisional and departmental performance.
• You must show good time management to meet all deadlines for reports and projects successfully.
• You will be tasked with overseeing the creation and management of daily, weekly, and monthly data reports.
• You will serve as a reliable source for streamlining measurements and reducing discrepancies within the organization.
• You will ensure that outcome data is effectively communicated at both divisional and departmental levels with adequate benchmarks.
• You will function as a dependable resource for department directors and managers regarding data management integrity.
• You'll maintain external databases' integrity, closely monitor results, and assist nursing management in exceeding benchmarks for indicators.
• Your role will involve effective participation in division huddle boards and special project undertakings.
• You will work closely with nursing management to develop and promote documents for the Magnet designation application.
Key Success Factors
• Must possess outstanding skills in managing data and generating reports.
• Needs to be capable of expressing thoughts eloquently, both in spoken and written form.
• Adept in building and maintaining proven professional affiliations across various organizational levels.
• Understands how to streamline operational procedures that define productivity standards, measurable priorities for staff and project teams, among others.
• Understands how to best allocate resources in order to achieve priorities and meet deadlines.
• Capable of making informed recommendations regarding HR processes such as recruitment and termination.
• Proficient in evaluating and recommending policy changes, and creating procedures that impact the department they manage.
• Understands business operations, such as strategic planning, budgeting, salary distribution, compliance, and risk management fundamentals.
• Highly skilled in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, data security, scheduling, payroll systems, medical records, and email.

• Bachelor's degree
