Mercyhealth is seeking a full-time Neurology and Sleep Medicine Physician to join our growing Brain and Spine Center team in Rockford, Illinois. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a balanced practice combining General Neurology and Sleep Medicine in a well-established outpatient setting with no inpatient responsibilities and no call requirements.

Opportunity:

• Full-time Neurology and Sleep Medicine position
• Approximately 50% General Neurology and 50% Sleep Medicine
• 100% outpatient practice
• No inpatient responsibilities
• No call required
• Flexible scheduling with 4, 4.5, or 5-day workweek options
• 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours per week
• Established Sleep Medicine program with access to two accredited sleep labs
• Sleep study interpretation opportunities
• EEG and EMG services available
• Collaborative multidisciplinary team including Neurologists, Sleep Medicine providers, APPs, and dedicated support staff
• Strong referral base and growing patient demand with current Neurology wait times of approximately four months
• Epic EMR
• 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

Practice Highlights

• Join experienced physicians including Sleep Medicine/Headache physician, a Neuromuscular physician and an NP, Sleep Medicine
• Dedicated sleep lab leadership and support team
• RN, MA, EEG/EMG technicians, sleep technologists, and clerical support
• Opportunity to collaborate with stroke aftercare specialists
• Adult Neurology and Sleep Medicine patient population
• Expansion position due to program growth

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program
• Sleep Medicine fellowship training required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine
• New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, high-quality care
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $450,000 - $500,000
