- Naturopathic Doctor - Primary Care
Description
Do you have an interest in naturopathic primary care, women’s health, or hormone therapy? If so then this could be the ideal position for you! Working here gives you the opportunity to practice your best medicine in a supportive and collaborative group practice environment while also enjoying an excellent compensation plan including a competitive salary, employer sponsored health insurance and a 401K plan with matching contributions. You will also have the opportunity to become an owner of a thriving group practice, providing additional income and retirement security.
All clinicians are paid per the same compensation plan, which is designed to reward hard work and accurate coding while aligning the interests of the doctor and the clinic, encouraging a healthy doctor-patient relationship and providing ample time for self-care. Our current naturopathic physicians working 3 days per week make between $90,000 to $110,000 in base salary, exclusive of ownership dividends. We pay 80% of employee premiums for top of the line Regence BCBS health insurance and we offer a 3.5% employer match on 401k contributions. All new hires will be reviewed after 1 year and if asked to stay will be required to buy into the practice. Buy-ins are financed so the out of pocket expense is minimal. The result is additional quarterly dividend income and a very valuable retirement benefit when you sell your shares back to the clinic.
We are looking for someone who has clinical experience, training or at least an authentic practice interest in women’s health, hormone therapy and naturopathic GLP-1 meds management. You need to be willing to work 3+ days per week. Some Saturday availability is a plus. New graduates are welcome to apply as long as you are willing to apply yourself in order to learn from your colleagues!
Heart of Wellness is a well-established clinic with 8 NDs, 1 LAc and 1 LMT currently on staff. Current schedules are full to overflowing. We also have an excellent marketing program and we are almost always able to fill new physician schedules quickly. We do require every new clinician to offer least 3 public talks or webinars over the first 6 months.
Olympia is a beautiful, progressive, relaxed and family-friendly town with a growing patient base, many local organic farms and great schools. Washington is a very progressive state in terms of interest in and support for naturopathic medicine. Naturopaths are considered primary care providers, state law requires that most naturopathic services are covered under most insurance plans, and reimbursement levels are good.
Our gorgeous timber-framed building is set in an urban oasis just minutes from downtown Olympia and includes a large number of spacious exam/treatment rooms, shared office space and break room, a very comprehensive dispensary, and room to expand as we grow.
International candidates please note that in order to apply for a WA state license you must have taken the Minor Office Procedures portion of the NPLEX2 examination.
If you are interested please email Fred Klemmer at fred@heartofwellness.org with a cover letter and CV or Resume.
