Locums Trauma Surgery NP or PA in Pennsylvania - No Call, 8 Shifts Monthly

This inpatient trauma role offers a focused surgical environment with a lighter monthly shift commitment and no call, ideal for providers who prefer block-style coverage.

Highlights

• Only 8 to 10 shifts per month
• Work alongside multiple APPs for support
• Level II trauma center experience

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery service
• Adult patient population
• Manage trauma activations and critical care cases
• Perform procedures including chest tubes and central lines

Schedule

• Mix of day and night 12-hour shifts
• 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Rotating schedule across the week
• Block scheduling with time off between shifts

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in trauma or acute care required
