Cover a comprehensive general thoracic service with approximately 5 to 7 patients daily, 24 hour call, and opportunities for additional PRN blocks.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient and outpatient general thoracic surgery
• Lobectomy, wedge resection, VATS, and decortication
• Esophagectomy, mediastinoscopy, and thymectomy
• Bronchoscopy, hiatal hernia repair, and Nissen fundoplication

Schedule

• Multi-day coverage blocks
• 24 hour call with daytime rounding
• Calls may originate from multiple locations
• Onsite rounding and callbacks limited to two locations

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Active Georgia medical license required
• DEA required
