Locums Pulmonary Critical Care Physician in Longview, Texas - Block Coverage, APP Support

Cover defined inpatient blocks with daytime critical care responsibilities, overnight call, and the potential to return for additional monthly coverage.

• Approximately 15 patients per shift
• Only about 3 admissions per shift

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient pulmonary and critical care medicine
• 26-bed department
• Level III trauma setting
• Up to one advanced practice provider supporting the service

Schedule

• Weeklong coverage blocks
• 12 hour onsite daytime shifts
• Overnight call follows daytime coverage
• 30 minute response requirement while on call

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
• Active Texas medical license required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS required
