Description

Palliative Medicine locums in Georgia with a predictable weekday schedule, no call, and manageable inpatient consult volume. On site coverage is needed about 2 weeks per month, with an ASAP start and ongoing need into 2027.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient adult palliative care consult service.
• Clinical work includes inpatient palliative care consultations.
• NP support in place, includes palliative care NP supervision.
• Typical daily volume is 2 to 3 new consults and 2 to 3 follow ups.

Schedule

• On site Monday through Friday coverage.
• 8 hour shifts starting at 9am.
• About 2 weeks of coverage needed per month.
• No call.

Cases and Procedures

• Inpatient palliative care consultation.
• Supervision of palliative care NPs.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Active Georgia license required, facility will not wait for a license.
• DEA required.
