Highlights

Practice Setting

• Inpatient consult and procedure-focused GI service
• Typical flow is morning coverage at one site and afternoon coverage at the other
• Average daily volume runs 12 to 20 patients across both sites
• New consult cadence typically 4 to 9 per day

Schedule

• Weekday clinical coverage is Monday through Friday
• Weekend night call is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Scheduling options include 7 on and off or two weeks per month

Cases and Procedures

• Inpatient GI consults and routine endoscopic procedures
• Advanced endoscopy not required

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Texas license, or will consider with active IMLC LOQ
• Comfortable managing adult inpatient consult volume across two nearby facilities

Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 to 90 days, team is working toward a quicker turnaround
