Gynecologic Oncology Physician | Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Join an established Gynecologic Oncology team in Baton Rouge. The role offers a balanced case mix of oncology and general gynecology alongside dedicated multidisciplinary support.

Position Highlights

• Balanced Case Mix: Provide approximately 60% oncology and 40% general gynecology.
• Surgical Resources: Access 3 da Vinci Xi robots with dedicated OR teams.
• Clinical Support: Work alongside NPs, PAs, first assists, residents, and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Referral Base: Join a practice with consistent surgical volume and a strong referral network.

Schedule & Call

• Weekly Structure: Monday through Friday with typically 2 to 3 clinic days and 1 to 2 dedicated OR days per week.
• Call: 1:4 call rotation at a single hospital with 24/7 critical care support.

Candidate Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible Gynecologic Oncologist
• Open to new fellows and experienced physicians
• Interest in a collaborative, team based practice environment
• Robotic surgery experience preferred or willingness to utilize robotic technology
