General Surgery Opportunity near Fort Worth, Texas

Practice Overview

• Serve as the sole General Surgeon with the opportunity to build and grow the surgical service line. There is potential for a part time surgeon as well as the current surgeon may stay on as .5 FTE.
• Goal of 40-50 cases per month after 1-year ramp up, with additional growth expected from surrounding communities.
• Broad general surgery case mix with opportunities to expand services and develop referral relationships.
• Solo call with locum support coordinated to allow for planned time away.

Schedule

• Dedicated OR block time with approximately 2-3 clinic days per week.
• Standard weekday schedule with no routine weekend clinic.
• Flexible Fall 2026 start date.
• Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

• $500,000-$550,000 guaranteed base salary, based on experience.
• Productivity bonus of $66.67 per wRVU above 7,500 annually.
• $50,000 sign-on bonus plus $10,000 relocation assistance and temporary housing support.
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, malpractice, 401(k), CME, and paid time off.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting.
• Experienced surgeons preferred; exceptional new graduates will be considered.
• Interested in building a long-term practice and becoming part of the community.
