Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in Peoria, Illinois - High Acuity ICU, Flexible Blocks

High-acuity ICU coverage with flexible PRN scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside fellows, residents, and attending physicians. Ideal for experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioners seeking recurring block coverage.

Practice & Cases

• Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical ICU step-down coverage
• Manage approximately 10 to 15 patients per shift
• Central and arterial line placement required
• Care for neurocritical care, cardiovascular surgery, ECMO, VAD, transplant, and other complex ICU patients

Schedule

• Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Flexible PRN coverage opportunities
• Minimum of 4 consecutive shifts per month required
• Ongoing coverage with recurring shift blocks available

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner
• Board certification required
• Active Illinois license required
• Prior Critical Care Nurse Practitioner experience required
