Job Purpose:The Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse prepares patients for surgical procedures, monitors and cares for patients post-operatively and is responsible for the achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with the mission of the facility.
