Advanced Metabolic Care + Research (AMCR) is a private Endocrinology practice that has been delivering high quality endocrine care to the people of San Diego for over 50 years as an affiliate of both the UCSD and Sharp healthcare systems. AMCR is embarking on a strategy to build a new care model designed to achieve the following goals:
- Improve outcomes, access, and the patient experience for people with diabetes and other metabolic disorders.
- Improve the lives of Endocrinologists, Nurse Practitioners, Diabetes Educators, and other professionals who care for these patients
- Expand office locations throughout Southern California and beyond
- Create the nation’s leading Metabolic Care Management Data Center
- Succeed in Value Based Care contracts, like Medicare’s new ACCESS Model
