MaineHealth is seeking compassionate, skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing care teams. As an EMT with MaineHealth, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during emergencies and interfacility transport situations. What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency medical care and transport
- Respond to 911 calls and scheduled transports as assigned
- Perform patient assessments and administer basic life support (BLS) interventions
- Collaborate with paramedics, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation
- Ensure vehicle readiness, equipment safety, and compliance with all protocols
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Completion of EMT-basic course required.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) EMT-Basic license required. Valid Driver’s License required. Current BLS Certification required.
