- Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care Physician Assistant

TACS Colorado is looking for a full-time physician assistant to join our team. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a completely physician owned and controlled group of surgeons and PAs. Our group is the exclusive trauma and acute care surgery group for three hospitals in the Denver metro area. We are looking for an additional team member due to expansion in coverage at one of our Level II trauma centers HCA Health One Mountain Ridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in trauma, general or orthopedic surgery and enjoy being part of a fast-paced busy patient care service with an emphasis on quality care and promotion of a collegial environment.

- Typical duties include:
- daily rounds, trauma consults and patient admissions and discharges
- responding to trauma activations in the emergency department
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, Master's degree preferred
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
- Current licensure as an APP in Colorado
- Certified by NCCPA
- Prescriptive authority for controlled substances in Colorado and a DEA registration.
- ATLS
- ACLS/BLS
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to perform complex patient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Great organizational skills
