SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Certified School Nurse (CSN) promotes and protects the optimal health status of students and staff. The CSN provides direct nursing services, health education, and leadership for the provision of health services. A critical role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special health care needs.

LOCATION
Assignment is located in Northbrook, IL

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
" Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse Endorsement
" Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
" Bachelor's degree in nursing;
" CPR/AED certification
" Experience in pediatric or community health nursing preferred
" Understanding of IEP/504 processes and IDEA compliance
" Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
