Registered Nurse – Breast Health Nurse Navigator (NYSNA)
Breast Center – Breast Surgery
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM

Salary: $131, 969.70 plus experience pay up to 15K for 15yrs of full time RN experience.

As a Breast Health Nurse Navigator, you will support patients throughout their breast care journey, providing nursing care, education, and guidance. Working closely with the breast surgery team and other healthcare professionals, you will help coordinate care, address patient concerns, and support informed decisions about treatment.

Key Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Current New York State Registered Nurse license required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN) certification preferred. Candidates hired without certification are expected to obtain it within 18 months of hire.
Professional nursing experience appropriate to the position required; 2–3 years of experience working with oncology patients, preferably breast cancer patients, preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, analytical, and patient care skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate accountability.
Commitment to teamwork, ongoing education, and high-quality, patient-focused care.
Ability to speak, read, and write English as required for the position; fluency in a second language preferred.
