Primary Care Locums Assignment in Connecticut - Potential 4-Day Work Week

A unique Locums opportunity for a Physician in Connecticut offers professional growth and the control you need over your long-term schedule.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient setting focusing exclusively on adult patients (18+ only).
• Join a 3-provider Primary Care practice that needs coverage.
• Robust support staff including a dedicated MA for each provider, an RN, and front desk support.

Schedule

• Standard weekday shifts, typically 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, or similar hours.
• Only 18-20 patients per day on average, allowing for quality patient care.

Procedures and Cases

• Provide comprehensive Primary Care to adult patients.
• Manage acute visits and chronic conditions.
• General primary care procedures, including pap smears, cuts, and sprains.
• Perform annual physicals, health testing, and surveillance exams.

Requirements

• Physician specializing in Internal Medicine is required.
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years.
• Current Connecticut state licensure is required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience is necessary.

Credentialing Requirements

• The standard credentialing timeframe is 60 days.
• The facility will not wait for a license, requiring current CT licensure for an ASAP start
