Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training in spine surgery preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage high surgical volume and complex spine cases
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Eligible to work in the United States
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Performing spine surgeries at Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital (103-bed) and Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital (537-bed, Level I trauma center)
- Participating in multidisciplinary care for complex neurosurgical and spine patients
- Collaborating with PAs, RNs, and other support staff to provide excellent patient care
- Utilizing state-of-the-art technology including O-Arm, Leica microscopes, stealth navigation, and CyberKnife
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials related to spine devices
- Supporting a culture of camaraderie and mentorship within the neurosurgery team

- Elyne Kahn, MD - Since 2019
Practice Support:
- 5 PAs take first call
- 3 RNs assist with patient calls and wound care
- Expected surgical cases: 150 in year one, ~300 once fully established
