- Physician Assistant - Retina Specialty
Description
High-volume, multi-location retina practice seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to expand injection capacity and manage medical retina patients in a fast-paced specialty clinic.
This is a procedural subspecialty role with a dedicated provider schedule and direct collaboration with board-certified retinal surgeons.
This is not a primary care position.
Responsibilities:
Manage stable age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) visits
Manage routine diabetic retinopathy follow-ups
Evaluate urgent retina complaints including flashes, floaters, and vision changes
Interpret OCT imaging (training provided)
Perform intravitreal injections following structured training and competency validation
Provide post-injection and post-operative care
Collaborate closely with supervising retinal specialists
Travel is limited to local offices within Brevard County
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary: $105,000–$130,000 annually (based on experience)

Requirements
- Active Florida PA license
- NCCPA certification required
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong procedural background preferred (surgical, orthopedics, dermatology, urgent care)
- Comfortable in a high-volume clinic environment (20+ patients per day)
- Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required.
