The RN will be working at our Oceanside Health Center. The RN is responsible for delivering patient-centered services in accordance with the TrueCare policies, procedures, and standards. This includes providing nurse triage services and health advice, performing routine office procedures, and testing, and participating in patient education. Responsibilities include triaging patients that walk-in person or are calling in, tending to the inboxes, administering injections, etc. Schedule is Saturdays 8-5, Monday 8-5 and Fridays 10am to 2pm. For 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Benefits: - Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited California School of Professional Nursing.
- Current California State Board RN license.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, teams, and Word.
- Availability to work a variable schedule, extended hours and/or Saturday shifts.
- Possess the ability to work independently and as team member.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic and/or community health care setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, legal and technical aspects of a medical records system, and ICD-10 and CPT codes.
