MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and rapidly growing orthopedic practicewith the ability to design, develop, and elevate a comprehensive Hand & Upper Extremity program from day one.
We are looking for a fellowship-trained surgeon passionate about the full spectrum of hand and upper extremity care, including complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, microsurgery, arthritis care, and elective procedures. With strong institutional support, dedicated OR access, and robust APP coverage, youll have the resources you need to build a thriving, high-demand practice.

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Fellowship trained in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery
- ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses
- Strong clinical and surgical skill set with a passion for comprehensive hand and upper extremity care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons
Compensation & Benefits
- Two-year guaranteed salary: $739,410, with production beginning at 10,650 wRVUs
- Straight production model beginning year 3
- Potential to earn $1M+ annually
- $100,000 recruitment incentive
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000
