Pay Range: $120,390.40 – $170,456.00 annually

Position Summary
Join us in shaping inpatient oncology at Mass General Brigham’s Cancer Institute. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the inaugural Hematology Oncology Inpatient Service at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, launching in 2026.
We are seeking Physician Assistants (PA) to join our inpatient service team at BWH. Full-time, part-time, and per diem roles are available.
Job Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider responsible for assessing and managing diverse patient populations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing care plans, and ensuring ongoing evaluation.

Essential Functions
- Provide direct care, counseling, and education to a designated inpatient population.
- Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and adjust patient care plans based on diagnostic outcomes.
- Prescribe medications and write orders per organizational and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain high-quality, timely documentation (admission notes, progress notes, discharge summaries).
- Perform bedside procedures appropriate to the patient population.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies required.
Licenses & Credentials:
- Massachusetts Physician Assistant license required.
Experience:
- Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills.
- Ability to maintain quality control and respond calmly in emergency situations.
- Clear, professional communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to apply and interpret policies and clinical procedures effectively.
