Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services as well as care for chronic and acute gynecological health issues.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health.
- Perform procedures as necessary, including suturing and minimally invasive techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Manage acute pain effectively and provide education on family planning and reproductive health.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient interactions accurately and completely.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Some appointments can be offered via telehealth.

Requirements
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PA or NP) with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and/or Hormone Replacement Therapy.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Nextgen for efficient patient management.
- Experience with critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical coding standards including ICD-9 and ICD-10 for accurate documentation.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, including physical examinations.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health management and treatment alternatives.
