Description
Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health SLUCare Physician Group are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Physician to join a collaborative academic and clinical practice based at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. This position offers the opportunity to practice at a dynamic academic medical center, with flexibility to participate in clinical service, teaching, and scholarly activities aligned with individual interests.
The Nuclear Medicine Physician will work closely with radiology, cardiology, oncology, and other multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services for a broad patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and report diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, including PET/CT and SPECT imaging
- Participate in radionuclide therapy services, as appropriate
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Contribute to quality, safety, and compliance initiatives
- Participate in teaching and education of medical students, residents, and fellows, as desired
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Nuclear Medicine (or Diagnostic Radiology with Nuclear Medicine certification)
- Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
- Interest in academic medicine and collaborative clinical practice
- Open to early-career and experienced physicians
