Locums Pathologist in South Carolina - Weekdays Only

Ongoing Pathology coverage needed near the coast in South Carolina; flexible monthly schedule and travel covered.

Highlights

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p; no night shifts
• Only occasional weekend call (8a-8a)
• Short-term or ongoing blocks available
• Travel and lodging provided

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based with lab and support staff
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient specimens
• Reads span multiple locations within the system
• Cerner/Epic EMR

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time: will consider 1-2 weeks/month
• 1-hour unpaid lunch
• February start with temp privileges available

Cases and Procedures

• Frozen sections required
• Bread-and-butter pathology: blood, urine, biopsies
• Volume: 40-50 cases/day
• Adult patient population

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (within 5 years of training)
• Active South Carolina license
• BLS certification

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage included
