Flexible Block Scheduling - Ongoing Oncology Coverage in Michigan

Practice Setting

• Dedicated Outpatient setting with a focus on comprehensive cancer care.
• Extensive support staff, including 5 APPs on the inpatient team and 5 APPs at the clinic.
• Participation and collaboration on a multidisciplinary Tumor Board.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, standard business hours (8a-5p).
• Light call rotation: 1 in 5 call ratio with weekday evening telephone call.
• Weekend rounding is supported by an advanced practice provider (APP).

Procedures and Cases

• Perform FNA/Biopsy procedures as required for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Active role in ordering all necessary tests, images, and prescribing medications.
• Focus on Adult and Geriatric patient populations.

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years) in Oncology.
• Prefer Active Michigan State Licensure.
• Must hold active BLS Certification.
• Case log demonstrating experience with FNA/Biopsy procedures is necessary.

Credentialing Requirements

• Full credentialing is a 90-day process.
• Temporary Privileges Available to get you practicing sooner.
