RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking an Infectious Disease Physician in Newark, NJ 

 
RWJBarnabas Health has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Infectious Disease physician to join our team at Newark Beth Israel. New staff will be excited to work an outpatient schedule with inpatient services performed at Newark Beth Israel in Newark New Jersey. This position is located only a short distance from NYC, and is in close proximity to historical architecture, and delicious multicultural restaurants.  

About the role: 

• In part of a teaching hospital partnered with RWJBH and Rutgers 
• Have faculty appointments (modified or unmodified) at Rutgers 
• Overseeing a larger Ryan White, transplant diseases (only nj transplant center)  
• Our proximity to NYC and Newark International Airport.  
• Fellowship – support the fellowship program each year 
• This role will have both research and teaching opportunities 
• Exciting time of growth- this is a new position created in response to inpatient and outpatient demand 
• Will have a key role in expanding our outpatient general ID clinic 
• 1.0 clinical  
• Performance improvement for department  
• One hospital – solely based out of NBI  
• Scheduling – average weekends on call to be once every 4-5 weekends 
• Be part of a cohesive, collegial, fun multidisciplinary team 
• Provide care to a largely underserved urban patient population 

Candidate Requirements: 

• Board certified (or board eligible) in Infectious Disease 
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
