Gastroenterology Locums in Michigan - Inpatient-Only, 1 Week On/Off

Hospital-only GI coverage near Detroit with full travel, quick credentialing, and no clinic.

Highlights

• 1 week on/1 week off; Monday 7a to following Monday 7a
• Bread and butter GI cases
• No clinic; inpatient, ED, and system-wide phone call coverage
• Up to $6,700/day, with travel and lodging included

Practice Setting

• MyMichigan Medical Center Midland
• Support from 3 IR physicians, 24/7 anesthesia, APPs (Mon-Thurs)
• Epic EMR

Schedule

• Minimum 7-day commitment/month
• Coverage weeks open now through 2026
• Orientation/proctoring required before first shift

Cases and Procedures

• 4-8 consults/rounds per day
• Bread and butter GI (ERCP/EUS preferred but not required)
• No clinic or elective outpatient work

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in GI (within 5 years)
• Active MI license or IMLC

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, hotel, car, and mileage covered
• Preference for candidates located in/near Michigan
