Emergency Department Profile 24/7/365 Freestanding Emergency Room Anticipated ER Visits of 30-50 patients per day Fully integrated with Medical City Plano (Level 1 trauma) 24 hours of Physician Coverage 10,000 square feet 11 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay Separate adult and pediatric waiting area All private treatment rooms State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology Ambulance bay for EMS access Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialistsQuality care is in your neighborhood at Medical City ER Garland, a department of Medical City Dallas. Opened in April 2024, the 11,000 square-foot facility has the capabilities to treat adult and pediatric patients of all ages with 10 private patient treatment rooms, including a trauma room, a full laboratory and a radiology suite with X-ray and CT imaging.Adult and pediatric patients at Medical City ER Garland can expect to receive all the same services as a hospital emergency room but with the added convenience of shorter wait times and a freestanding location close to home. Medical City Garland can offer shorter wait times thanks to efficient triage methods.If necessary, you can expect to be seen quickly by an emergency physician and receive appropriate treatment, including immediate and safe pain control.
