- Experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant

Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology (BVCD) is seeking an experienced, licensed dermatology Physician Assistant to join our growing team. We are an independent, locally owned dermatology practice committed to advancing the dermatologic health of all members of our community. Learn more about our practice at www.bvderm.com.
As part of our collaborative and supportive provider group, you will deliver exceptional dermatologic care through both in-person and telehealth visits. This role may involve working at more than one of our office locations. We currently serve patients in Lafayette, Brighton, and Boulder, and are excited to expand with a new Thornton office opening in 2026.
Role Summary
- Provide comprehensive medical dermatology care to new and established patients.
- Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, etc.).
- Perform dermatologic procedures within scope (biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions as applicable).
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR.
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists and fellow providers to ensure high-quality care.

Compensation
- Base salary plus production bonus structure.
- Total expected annual compensation: $130,000 -$225,000.
- Sign-on bonus available.

Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Clinic hours are Monday–Friday between 7:45am–6:00pm (shift schedule varies).
- One Saturday morning per month (8:30am–12:30pm).
Travel
- May require travel to satellite offices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position operates in a professional medical office environment and requires the routine use of standard office and clinical equipment. The role includes exposure to clinical materials requiring appropriate safety precautions and protective equipment.
Physical demands include standing and/or walking for extended periods, frequent use of hands and arms, and occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
- 3+ years of dermatology Physician Assistant experience required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Successful completion of post-offer, pre-employment background check.
