Requirements

Must be a Licensed Nurse in the State of New York (NP, or RN)
Current American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies or Emergency Medical Technician or willingness to take the course
New York State Public Vessel License or willingness to obtain
Willingness to be certified in  CPR for the Professional rescuer or valid certification completion date from within the year (regardless of expiration date on card)
A belief in, adherence to, and willingness to promote the mission of the Eagle Island Camp 
Willingness and ability to share skills and traditions, and to learn new skills and philosophies.
Maturity, strong leadership qualities, and good judgment.
Acceptance and appreciation of all the people and the ability to live and work with children and adults of various backgrounds, life experiences and identities
Excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work as part of an effective camp staff team
